Dickson Welcomes Cut in Gas Prices

East Antrim Alliance MLA, Stewart Dickson, has welcomed the announcement by Firmus Energy that it will cut its gas prices by 8.77%. Firmus Energy says this will see the average home save around £54 per year on its natural gas bill.

Mr Dickson commented: “As the cost of living continues to rise, it is unusual to see a cut in the price of utilities, especially with the rises in electricity tariffs we have seen recently. It is good to see a fall in the cost of gas to partially offset these energy rises, and reduce the cost for families to keep their homes warm this winter."
