Dickson Welcomes Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme
Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, is delighted to welcome Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme 2016.
The Scheme offers grants of between £200 and £1,500. They are available to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and/or social isolation. Applicants must match 15 per cent of the funding.
Mr Dickson said: “The Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme is a wonderful opportunity for the constituency of East Antrim. East Antrim is an area where all too often rural communities can find themselves isolated. This funding will allow
communities to focus on improving conditions for the isolated and those suffering in poverty.
“I encourage any group or organisation to take this opportunity to apply for the grant. A modernised, more informed and connected, and healthier rural community will create a stronger East Antrim for all.”
The Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme 2016 will be open for applications until 12 noon on Friday 30th September 2016. Applicants should contact South Antrim Rural Support Network on 028 9447 8645.
