The next section of the Whitehead Embankment Project engineering works will begin on Sunday 16th February.
Translink is committed to maintaining and enhancing their rail infrastructure to deliver a high quality, safe and sustainable public transport network today, and for our future generations.
The initial preparatory work will commence on Sunday 16th February 2025 and a temporary works site will be set up within Whitehead Park and Ride. There will be reduced car parking at Whitehead Park and Ride to facilitate this.
The main engineering works will last around 8 weeks. The construction programme includes a combination of works taking place at night and during weekend line closures on 8th-9th March and 29th-30th March 2025. Translink are committed to carrying out these works as efficiently as possible and will be updating regularly as the project progresses.
During this time, you may experience some noise, but Translink will make every effort to minimise disruption and reduce the impact on their neighbours.
Should you have any concerns regarding how the works are being carried out, Translink will be keen to resolve these with you quickly. Please contact our project team at 028 7954 9090 selecting Option 03.
Translink would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and ask for your continued understanding and support while they work to improve your local rail network.
