Dickson Commends Carrickfergus Foodbank for Supporting Those in Need

Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, has commended the work of the Carrickfergus Foodbank in helping hundreds of people since its creation.

Mr Dickson commented: “Nobody should be going without food in this day and age. We are seeing appalling increases in poverty, the impact of changes to welfare, delays in payments and problems with debt can weigh down families, making food seem like a secondary concern.

“However, people should know that the Trussell Trust and the Carrickfergus Foodbank can help if you cannot afford to buy food for yourself and your family.”
